User Agreement


The mission of Synam Africa is to connect businesses to potential clients by enhancing their online presence. To achieve our mission, we provide businesses with services such as Web Design, Web Optimization, Online Advertising, Article Writing, and Web Content Management. The terms “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Synam Africa. The term “you”, "users", “buyers” or “service provides” refers to the customer visiting the Website and/or contributing content on this Website.
You agree that by using our website, or subscribing to Synam Africa, or contributing content by any channel including posting on the website, submitting via email, or telephone interview, or using other information provided as part of the Synam Africa services, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with Synam Africa based on the terms of this Synam Africa User Agreement and the Synam Africa Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated by reference (collectively referred to as the “Agreement”) . Please read the Agreement carefully. If you do not accept all of these terms and conditions, please do not use this Website. Be sure to return to this page periodically to review the most current version of the Agreement. We reserve the right at any time, at our sole discretion, to change or otherwise modify the Agreement without prior notice, and your continued access or use of this Website signifies your acceptance of the updated or modified Agreement.
We retain the right at our sole discretion to deny access to anyone to this Website and the services we offer, at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, for violation of this Agreement.
Use of the Website
As a condition of your use of this Website, you agree to do the following:
•    Comply with all applicable laws, including, without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, export control laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements;
•    Provide accurate information to us and update it as necessary;
•    Review and comply with our Privacy Policy;
•    Review and comply with notices sent by Synam Africa concerning the Services; and
•    If you have a Synam Africa account, you will safeguard your account information and will be completely responsible for any use of your account by anyone other than you.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to undertake the following:
•    Publish inaccurate information on your company profile or reviews;
•    Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available or initiate any content that:
o    Is unlawful, libelous, abusive, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable;
o    Includes information that you do not have the right to disclose or make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as insider information, or proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
o    Infringes upon patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or other proprietary rights;
o    Includes any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation.
o    Contains software viruses, worms, or any other computer code, files or programs that interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment of Synam Africa or any user of Synam Africa;
•    Duplicate, license, sublicense, publish, broadcast, transmit, distribute, perform, display, sell, rebrand, or otherwise transfer information found on Synam Africa (excluding content posted by you) except as permitted in this Agreement, or as expressly authorized by Synam Africa;
•    Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for any underlying intellectual property used to provide the Services, or any part thereof;
•    Utilize or copy information, content or any data you view on or obtain from Synam Africa to provide any service that is competitive, in Synam Africa's sole discretion, with Synam Africa;
•    Collect, use, copy, or transfer any information, including, but not limited to, personally identifiable information obtained from Synam Africa except as expressly permitted in this Agreement or as the owner of such information may expressly permit;
•    Use manual or automated software, devices, scripts robots, other means or processes to access, “scrape,” “crawl” or “spider” any web pages or other services contained in the site;
•    Use bots or other automated methods to access Synam Africa, add or download company or user information, send messages, or perform other similar activities through Synam Africa;
•    Engage in “framing,” “mirroring,” or otherwise simulating the appearance or function of Synam Africa's website or content except as expressly permitted by Synam Africa;
•    Attempt to or actually override any security component included in or underlying Synam Africa;
•    Engage in any action that directly or indirectly interferes with the proper working of or places an unreasonable load on Synam Africa’s infrastructure;
•    Post reviews on services or products offered by your current employer or by direct competitors of your current employer’s services or products; and/or
•    Log in using an alias that masks your true identity.


License and Warranty for your Submissions to Synam Africa
You own the information you provide Synam Africa under this Agreement and may request its deletion at any time unless you have shared information or content with others and they have not deleted it, or it was copied or stored by other users. Additionally, you grant Synam Africa a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, unlimited, assignable, sublicenseable, fully paid up and royalty-free right to us to copy, prepare derivative works of, improve, distribute, publish, remove, retain, add, process, analyze, use and commercialize, in any way now known or in the future discovered, any information you provide, directly or indirectly to Synam Africa, including, but not limited to, any user generated content, ideas, concepts, techniques and/or data to the services, you submit to Synam Africa, without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or to any third parties. Any information you submit to us is at your own risk of loss. By providing information to us, you represent and warrant that you are entitled to submit the information and that the information is accurate, not confidential, and not in violation of any contractual restrictions or other third party rights. It is your responsibility to keep your Synam Africa information accurate and updated.
Payment
If you purchase any services that we offer for a fee, either on a one-time or subscription basis (“Sponsorships”), you agree to pay the applicable fees for the Sponsorships as they become due plus all related taxes, and to reimburse us for all collection costs and interest for any overdue amounts. Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in the termination of your subscription and/or application of late payment fees. Late payment fees may be applied on invoices 30 days past due. If the payment method you use with us, such as a credit card, reaches its expiration date and you do not edit your payment method information or cancel your account or Sponsorship, you authorize us to continue billing that payment method and you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. Your obligation to pay fees continues through the end of the subscription period during which you cancel your subscription. All applicable taxes are calculated based on the billing information you provide us at the time of purchase. You may cancel or suspend your Sponsorship by contacting us. We do not guarantee refunds for dissatisfaction beyond the initial refund period.
 

Service Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older in order to use the service, register for an account and contribute to our website. In addition you must be in compliance with this User Agreement.

SYNAM AFRICA DOES NOT ENDORSE ANY COMPANY, VENDOR, SERVICE OR PRODUCT DEPICTED IN ITS RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS AND DOES NOT ADVISE USERS TO SELECT ONLY THOSE VENDORS WITH THE HIGHEST RATINGS. SYNAM AFRICA RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS CONSIST OF THE OPINIONS OF SYNAM AFRICA AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS STATEMENTS OF FACT. SYNAM AFRICA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THIS RESEARCH, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES PUBLISHED ON THIS WEBSITE MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR ERRORS. SYNAM AFRICA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF, AND DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY ERRORS OR OTHER INACCURACIES RELATING TO THE INFORMATION AND DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS DISPLAYED ON THIS WEBSITE (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COMPANY PROFILES, PORTFOIO IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS, REVIEWS, DIRECTORY AND RESEARCH DATA, ETC.). SYNAM AFRICA MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY OF THE INFORMATION AND SERVICES CONTAINED ON THIS WEBSITE FOR ANY PURPOSE, AND THE INCLUSION OR OFFERING OF ANY SERVICES ON THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ANY ENDORSEMENT OR RECOMMENDATION OF SUCH PRODUCTS OR SERVICES BY SYNAM AFRICA. IN PARTICULAR, THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICES MAY BE INTERRUPTED DUE TO MAINTENANCE, UPDATES, OR SYSTEM OR NETWORK FAILURES. SYNAM AFRICA DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY ANY SUCH INTERRUPTION OR ERRORS IN FUNCTIONING. FURTHERMORE, SYNAM AFRICA DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY MALFUNCTIONING, IMPOSSIBILITY OF ACCESS, OR POOR USE CONDITIONS OF THE SYNAM AFRICA SITE DUE TO INAPPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT, DISTURBANCES RELATED TO INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS, TO THE SATURATION OF THE INTERNET NETWORK, AND FOR ANY OTHER REASON.
